On July 20th, Apple's Beats brand released a brand new flagship earphone, the Beats Studio Pro, priced at 2899 yuan and will be available for sale starting from August 10th. This is the first headphones launched by Beats since Beats Studio3 Wireless in 2019, and also the first flagship wireless headphones launched by Beats since 2017. The appearance of this earphone is similar to the Beats Studio 3s, but it has significant improvements in sound quality, noise reduction, comfort, and other aspects. Beats Studio Pro is Apple's first earphone that supports lossless USB-C audio playback, and combines the listening experience of iPhone and Android users.
It is worth mentioning that Beats has undergone a comprehensive transformation of the acoustic structure of Studio Pro, adopting a new 40mm driver unit that can effectively improve clarity and achieve ultra-low distortion even at high volume. Compared to Beats Studio3, it provides up to 80% performance improvement and higher audio fidelity. The active noise reduction system of Beats Studio Pro has also been upgraded, with better microphone arrays added and transparency modes added. The external ear pads have also been redesigned with memory sponge and seamless leather.
The new headphones are also the first under Apple to support lossless audio playback through a USB-C connection. When listening to music through a wired USB-C connection, Beats provides sound profiles for different purposes, such as music, movies, and voice calls/podcasts. The battery life of the new headphones can reach up to 40 hours (when active noise reduction is turned off).
